Together-- a poem

Together

I bow and I bow
because I don't know how
to do anything more
or less
than love you

I sit and I wait
because there's no where
to go without you
and now
is held only by a slender thread

I pray and I pray
for the day that you and I
become one, become we
free to be
Together.
